How does it work?

There are high-speed wireless Internet towers located in Columbiaville, Otter Lake, and two in Deerfield Twp., MI (Mayfield Twp., North Branch and more coming soon). A small, wireless antenna and radio is installed on the side of your house, or the roof, which transmits and receives the Internet signals to and from our towers. From the antenna on your house, a cable is run inside your house to a box, near your computer. Included in our installation is a wire run to either one computer, a switch (hub) or router. You can use one of our own, or we can sell you one and configure it for you.

And since this isn't cable, you don't have to already be wired to start receiving high-speed wireless Internet. If you are within a 7-mile radius of one of our towers (barring no obvious obstructions, such as large hills or extremely heavy woods), there shouldn't be a problem installing this service in your home right away!

And if you purchased an additional phone line as a dedicated modem line, you can cancel it and save some money, because our wireless Internet service doesn't require a phone line. And since dial-up Internet Service Providers (ISP) cost up to $25 or more a month, such as AOL or Earthlink, by cancelling your current dial-up service, it is possible to save over $25 each month just by ending your obligation to your ISP and around $50 per month on the extra phone line. And if you didn't get an extra phone line, now you won't be tying it up with people on the Internet! So, go ahead, save up to $75 a month by switching to our service!

And, of course, our slowest speed is 20 - 40 times faster than dial-up. And we are talking about download speeds here. Our response times are literally over 40 times faster than satellite. What this means to you is that when you click on a link, you will see it 40 times faster than you would on satellite, even if we had the same download speed. Our response times are comparable to cable Internet at 50ms - 60ms. Having response times this fast means that you can do things like VoIP phone service, VPN for work, online 3D gaming, video conferencing and more. With satellite there is just too much lag time, at 900ms - over 2000ms (the larger the number the longer it takes to respond).

Can I cancel my contract early and just incur an early termination fee?

No. You are responsible for the entire contract that you sign up for. If you feel that you cannot complete an entire contract, then you should choose a shorter term. Your early termination fee is the remainder of your contract.

Can I suspend my service if I live here part time?

Yes, if you have 1-year contract. You cannot suspend your service if you have the 2 or 3-year contracts. The reason for this is if you have a 3-year contract with us and you live here for 6 months out of the year, and move to Florida for the other 6 months (and you suspended the service for the time you live in Florida), it would extend the 3-year contract into a 6-year contract. This is just too long for us to guarantee the same rates. Our expenses change all the time. We just can't guarantee our rates will stay the same for 4 or 6 years.
